EDITORIAL VOTE FOR DEMOCRACY DON'T LET LAWYERS CHOOSE OUR PRESIDENT.


TODAY, the fun begins. It starts with the election, and continues with the counts, the recounts, the legal challenges, the U.S. Supreme Court ruling - or rulings. And it ends with half the country wronged and disappointed. Right?

Not necessarily.

There's no reason why democracy has to devolve devolve v. when property is automatically transferred from one party to another by operation of law, without any act required of either past or present owner. The most common example is passing of title to the natural heir of a person upon his death.  to a comedy of errors, or why the leader of the Free World The "Leader of the Free World" is a title used sometimes to describe the President of the United States, though the title is debated by those who consider themselves to be part of the "Free World", but not under the leadership of the United States.  needs to be decided by a handful of ``swing'' voters.
