Then, officials said the project would cost $340 million, and maybe even go as high as $383 million. That was a big jump from the budgeted $200 million -- to say nothing of the original $150 million price tag. But now the price has gone up yet again. The City Council's Budget and Finance Committee's latest estimate is $396 million. And officials warn it could go as high as $420 million.
