Padilla's not going anywhere. At least not yet. He and his council colleagues seem a tad overconfident o·ver·con·fi·dent adj. Excessively confident; presumptuous. o ver·con about Padilla's besting of Assemblywoman San Fernando Cindy Montaez in the California Senate District 20 race next June. If he loses, he will be hanging around City Hall at least another year. If he wins, we can expect a tribute that might last through the night. Now that's something to look forward to. |
