EDITORIAL MASTER NO-PLAN.

Got it?

You're not alone. It's hard to make sense of the mayor's mishmash mish·mash

That has left community groups to propose piecemeal, short-term fixes, like one offered earlier this week, which would ensure that prop planes could continue using the facility for some time. But absent a coherent, long-term master plan, neighbors and businesses alike are left unsure about what to expect for their future.

What's needed is a vision. What's needed is leadership. What's needed is someone who can help balance the interests of creating jobs, reducing noise and protecting the local community.

In short, what's needed is a mayor, one as interested in serving the city's vital needs as in enriching its special interests.
