HOORAY to Matt Leinart for bringing the Heisman award home to Southern California once again.

We're all delighted that Leinart is the second University of Southern California quarterback to earn the honor in the past three years, and the sixth Trojan in history to do so.

It's especially inspiring because of the challenges Leinart overcame as a youngster, including two surgeries because he was cross-eyed and the premature ending of a promising baseball career due to a torn rotator ro·ta·tor (r
