EDITORIAL LISTEN TO THE BOSS CTC SHOULD HEED ARNOLD ON 405 RELIEF.

SOUTHERN California Southern California, also colloquially known as SoCal, is the southern portion of the U.S. state of California. Centered on the cities of Los Angeles and San Diego, Southern California is home to nearly 24 million people and is the nation's second most populated region,  residents who want the state to deliver on highly anticipated bond money to relieve traffic on the 405 Freeway picked up a powerful ally Tuesday: Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger Arnold Alois Schwarzenegger (German pronunciation (IPA): [ˈaɐ̯nɔlt ˈaloɪ̯s ˈʃvaɐ̯ʦənˌʔɛɡɐ] .

Schwarzenegger has joined Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa Antonio Ramon Villaraigosa (born Antonio (Tony) Ramon Villar, Jr. on January 23, 1953) is the mayor of Los Angeles, California.  the chances of getting much-needed matching funds from Washington.

If simple fairness or good economics aren't enough to motivate the CTC's commissioners, we can only hope that the advice of the state's top elected official -- that is, their boss -- will be.
