EDITORIAL JOB WELL DONE COMPLICATED COUNTY ELECTIONS GO OFF WITHOUT A HITCH.WHEN a ``perfect storm'' of complicated conditions turned March's primary elections into a spectacular mess, County Registrar-Recorder Conny McCormack honorably accepted responsibility. That was an impressive display of integrity for a public official, but more impressive yet was the well-run election that McCormack delivered voters, as promised, on Nov. 5. None of the problems that beset be·set tr.v. be·set, be·set·ting, be·sets 1. To attack from all sides. 2. To trouble persistently; harass. See Synonyms at attack. 3. the March primary were a factor this time. Polling stations were open where and when they were supposed to be, and anyone who wanted to vote could. The few things that went wrong apparently were fixed quickly. We couldn't ask for more than that, especially in elections as complicated as this year's.
