EDITORIAL HEAVY MESSAGE EAT LESS AND EXERCISE MORE IS ONLY REAL FAT-BUSTER.

A new study says American women are eating more chocolate chip-cookies and pasta Alfredo than they used to, resulting in a supersized version of the average female.

No kidding. We need a study to tell us that?

It's not complicated, but obviously it's not so easy, either.

We live demanding, stress-filled lives and spend billions of dollars a year searching for miracle diets, pills or cure-alls that we hope will somehow transform us into healthy people.

No miracle or study will ever work. And we don't need new studies to tell us what people have known. Of course, it's easier to talk about the good life than to live it.
