James Kenneth "Jim" Hahn (born July 3, 1950) is an American politician from the Democratic Party. He was the Deputy City Attorney (1975-1979), City Controller (1981-1985), City Attorney (1985-2001) and Mayor of Los Angeles, California
, has amassed an awesome campaign war chest, raising $1.3 million in 2003 alone.

That far eclipses the impressive sums Hahn raised at the same point for his last, victorious campaign.

Not too shabby for a politician who struggles in the popularity polls, one who has repeatedly managed to offend the key constituencies from the San Fernando Valley San Fernando Valley
