ON this day of counting blessings, it's easy to overlook one of the things that we should be most thankful thank·ful  
adj.
1. Aware and appreciative of a benefit; grateful.

2. Expressive of gratitude: a thankful smile.
 for. And that's the community around us that supports us in ordinary, and sometimes extraordinary ways.

No doubt there are thousands of inspiring tales of the community pulling together and helping its members out. Here are just two:
