 the idea that the Grand Avenue Park plan cooked up by county officials and developers is just a grandiose real-estate scheme, then surely the plight of the doomed fountain will spark your ire.

As part of the plan, it was revealed that the large and lovely fountain sitting in the middle of the outside complex and many of its adjoining pools is doomed because it gets in the way of grading.

There are many disturbing things about this project, which appears little more than a scam to make developers rich and give county officials a spiffy spiffy - /spi'fee/ 1. Free the fountain from this bad Grand Avenue park plan. And free the people as well.
