Mainly residential, the town has some light manufacturing. Speedway Speedway, town (1990 pop. 13,092), Marion co., central Ind., just W of Indianapolis; inc. 1926. The Indianapolis Speedway, site of the annual Indianapolis 500 car race, is located there. There is also light manufacturing. . This is a definite step in the right direction. Now if organizers could somehow find a way to bring what was once called the San Fernando Valley San Fernando Valley Valley, southern California, U.S. Northwest of central Los Angeles, the valley is bounded by the San Gabriel, Santa Susana, and Santa Monica mountains and the Simi Hills. Fair back to the San Fernando Valley, all would be right in fairland. |
