NEXT time you're in Valley Plaza, look out for Roy Romer Roy R. Romer (born October 31, 1928 in Garden City, Kansas, United States) was the 39th governor of Colorado and served as the superintendent of the Los Angeles Unified School District from 2001 to 2006.  Middle School. The outgoing LAUSD LAUSD Los Angeles Unified School District (Los Angeles, CA)  superintendent's friends on the school board decided to name a campus in the master school-builder's honor.

Next up is the Hertzberg-Davis Forensic Center -- the under-construction, city-county crime lab named for former Assembly Speaker Bob Hertzberg and ex-Gov. Gray Davis, who fought for its funding.

Our local leaders take care of their own.

If they do their job and find a way to spend taxpayer money for good or ill, they get their names put on our buildings.

Although given the way Davis left office, his new building could be the butt BUTT. A measure of capacity, equal to one hundred and eight gallons. See Measure.  of jokes for years to come:
