Amen. Now if only Brother Eric would lead the charge in chasing the money-changers -- the lobbyists, the contractors and the special interests -- out of the temple.

Sure, some civility in the council chamber would be nice, but it's not bad manners that's degraded L.A. government. It's the culture of corruption "Culture of corruption" is a political slogan used by the United States Democratic Party to refer to a series of political scandals affecting the Republican Party during George W. Bush's second term as President of the United States.  that's alienated the public and given City Hall such a poor reputation.

If Garcetti means what he says, he's got a lot of work ahead of him to exorcise the demons Demons
