BY winning the Western Regional championship Thursday night, the Conejo Valley The Conejo Valley is a region spanning both Southeastern Ventura County and Northwest Los Angeles County in Southern California, United States. It was discovered in 1542 by Spanish explorer Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo, and eventually became part of the Rancho El Conejo land grant by  Little League team is heading for the world championship. It couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of kids.

The 11- and 12-year-old players could teach the professional sports world a thing or two about sportsmanship and teamwork.

The Conejo kids now go on to the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pa. They may win it all or they may not. In a sense, it doesn't matter because they've already shown what they are made of and made their families and the whole community proud.
