SADLY, many people find themselves in serious need during the holidays and turn to charitable organizations This article is about charitable organizations. For other uses of the word charity, see Charity.
A charitable organization (also known as a charity) is an organization with charitable purposes only.
 to get them through the tough times. But this holiday season, those who help those in need are in need themselves.

The homes and lives lost in Southern California Southern California, also colloquially known as SoCal, is the southern portion of the U.S. state of California.
