EDITORIAL : VOTE APRIL 13.
L.A.'s municipal election April 13 is not a barnburner in many
parts of Los Angeles, where there are no City Council seats, LAUSD board
or Community College board seats up for election.
Everyone does have a chance to vote on the critically important
Proposition 1, a $744 million bond issue for police and fire facilities.
With only one issue or just a few things to vote for, the danger is
many people won't take the time and trouble to go out on Election
Day.
Because your vote does matter, we hope you will use the application
on the back of your sample ballot and vote absentee if you want to be
heard. Absentee ballots must be received by the City Clerk by April 6,
postage free.
Don't forget to vote.
