EDITORIAL : STILL WAITING...


THE Los Angeles City Council has yet to adopt new regulations requiring the city's 21,000 restaurants to post letter grades in the front window for diners.

County health inspectors are paid to keep restaurants clean in unincorporated communities as well as 82 cities, including Los Angeles. But the adoption of the new rules in December extended only to the unincorporated areas until the cities enact the regulations.

So, where are Los Angeles' new regulations?
