EDITORIAL : DEMOCRAT DICTATORSHIP; ASSEMBLY BILL TO IMPOSE UNION RULES ON CHARTER SCHOOLS WOULD DESTROY HOPES FOR EDUCATION REFORM.JUST when legislative Democrats had bamboozled people into thinking they actually cared about educating our children, the party showed its true colors by launching a sneak attack on charter schools - the only reform that actually works. Can Democrats spell D-U-M-B or D-O-O-M? What's tragic about this stealth piece of legislation is that the committee, acting with virtually no notice to charter school officials, approved it on the same day that the top financial policy maker for the Western United States Noun 1. western United States - the region of the United States lying to the west of the Mississippi River West Santa Fe Trail - a trail that extends from Missouri to New Mexico; an important route for settlers moving west in the 19th century warned that the earning gap between skilled and unskilled labor will continue to broaden without a better educated work force.
