The Energy Management Assistance (EMA (1) (Enterprise Management Architecture) An earlier strategic plan from Digital for integrating network, system and application management. It provided the operating environment for managing a multi-vendor network. ) program helps income-qualified households save energy and lower their electricity costs. Edison pays all the costs of purchasing and installing energy-efficient appliances and equipment, which are free to eligible customers. EMA services also include replacing standard light bulbs with energy-efficient bulbs, weatherizing homes and replacing old refrigerators with new units and air conditioning air conditioning, mechanical process for controlling the humidity, temperature, cleanliness, and circulation of air in buildings and rooms. The Family Electric Rate Assistance program provides a discounted rate on the monthly bill to income-qualified customers (between $40,000 and $50,000 for a family of four) that exceed their baseline usage by 30 to 100 percent. To qualify, a minimum of three or more permanent residents must live in the household and the total home income must fall within program guidelines. For more information, call (800) 447-6620.

Customers needing electric life-support equipment, or having certain medical conditions See carpal tunnel syndrome, computer vision syndrome, dry eyes and deep vein thrombosis. , can save money by applying for the Medical Baseline program. For more information, call (800) 655-4555.

The Low-Income Energy-Efficiency program is offered by the state and provides income-qualified households with energy-efficiency services designed to help reduce their energy consumption and bills. The service is offered to qualifying customers at no cost. Similarly, the Home Energy Assistance program provides financial assistance to eligible households to offset the costs of heating and/or cooling dwellings. If customers have financial troubles and can't pay their bill, they can call Southern California Edison 24 hours a day to get help at (800) 655-4555.
