The new drift drift, deposit of mixed clay, gravel, sand, and boulders transported and laid down by glaciers. Stratified, or glaciofluvial, drift is carried by waters flowing from the melting ice of a glacier. that was opened on the Santa Juana vein on the 15th level continued to yield excellent results with an extra 21 meters giving an average grade of 16.8 g/t gold, 643 g/t silver, 5.1% lead and 11.2% zinc zinc, metallic chemical element; symbol Zn; at. no. 30; at. wt. 65.38; m.p. 419.58°C;; b.p. 907°C;; sp. gr. 7.133 at 25°C;; valence +2.
