Italian writer best known for his novels, including The Name of the Rose (1981). He has also written extensively on semiotics and British and American popular culture. (epichlorohydrin ep·i·chlo·ro·hy·drin n. A colorless liquid, C3H5OCl, used as a solvent in making resins. ) elastomers are featured in this 60-page catalog. Hydrin ECO elastomers offer mechanical properties similar to those of natural rubber, along with many of the desirable properties of nitrile, polychloroprene, polysulfide pol·y·sul·fide n. A sulfide compound containing at least two sulfur atoms per molecule. and polyacrylic elastomers. The overall balance of properties these elastomers provide is not available with other oil-resistant elastomers.
