Jabber, Inc., the leading commercial provider of XMPP-based presence and messaging solutions, today announced an agreement to provide software and services to EBS See Swiss Electronic Bourse.

EBS is owned by a partnership of the world's largest foreign exchange market-making banks and the pre-eminent provider of foreign exchange trading Foreign Exchange Trading or FX Trading, clients are able to hedge against, or speculate upon, changes in the exchange rate of two currencies. For example, a speculator can long EUR/USD in foreign exchange market in order to profit from capturing the appreciation of Euro against the  solutions to the interbank spot foreign exchange community.

Under terms of the agreement, Jabber XCP, Jabber, Inc.'s commercial platform for presence-aware messaging, will be integrated into EBS' existing foreign currency conversational direct dealing trading platform for its EBS Trader(R)(TM) product in order to enhance the flow of information and speed of transaction execution. Under an exclusive global distribution agreement between EBS and Bloomberg, EBS Trader was launched on the BLOOMBERG PROFESSIONAL(R) service in autumn 2003.
