He quickly won the first frame back with breaks of 46 and 27, and took the scrappy next to go within one frame of victory at 4-2. He wrapped up a routine win when Liang's break ended at 27 and the Dubai-based potter went on a run of 32 to end the match after a time of two hours and 39 minutes.
