The city of Santa Clarita Santa Clarita, city (1990 pop. 110,642), Los Angeles co., S Calif., suburb 30 mi (48 km) NW of downtown Los Angeles, on the Santa Clara River; inc. 1987. Situated in the Santa Clara valley and nearby canyons, Santa Clarita includes the former towns of Canyon Country, , in partnership with several local businesses, will hold a series of three fund-raising fund-raising, large-scale soliciting of voluntary contributions, especially in the United States. Fund-raising is widely undertaken by charitable organizations, educational institutions, and political groups to acquire sufficient funds to support their activities.  events to benefit the United Way.

The events will take place this week at three local restaurants. Each restaurant will donate 10 percent of the receipts from the fund-raiser to the United Way. No reservations are necessary.

The following is a schedule of the United Way fund-raising events.
