By the end of the year, Valencia will have several new restaurants, including a Chili's, Macaroni Grill Macaroni Grill (also known as Romano's Macaroni Grill) is a chain of Italian food casual dining restaurants in the US and Canada. The chain and brand name is owned by Brinker International. , Maria's Kitchen, Claimjumper, Juggles and Red Robin.

Terri's Cookies and Noah's Bagels also will open new outlets.

``There's going to be a lot more to choose from,'' said Marlee Lauffer, vice president of The Newhall Land and Farming Company The Newhall Land and Farming Company is a land management company based in Valencia, California, United States. The company is responsible for the master community planning of Valencia, as well as the management of farm land elsewhere in the state. , which lured most of the chains to the area.

Chili's is a family restaurant, Macaroni Grill serves a variety of pasta dishes and Claimjumper, specializing in ribs, all are scheduled to open this spring along The Old Road near the Valencia Marketplace shopping center shopping center, a concentration of retail, service, and entertainment enterprises designed to serve the surrounding region. The modern shopping center differs from its antecedents—bazaars and marketplaces—in that the shops are usually amalgamated into . Nearby an Outback steakhouse Outback Steakhouse is a casual dining American restaurant chain based in Tampa, Florida with over 900 locations in 23 countries throughout North and South America, Europe, Asia, and Australia.  also is planned and expected to open in the summer.

Maria's, an Italian restaurant, is under construction on Cinema Drive, Juggles, an entertainment-themed eatery will be at a tenant-owned complex nearby and Red Robin, a family restaurant, on the lower floor of the Valencia Town Center, next to Sears.

The arrival of new eateries signals the region's commercial growth, Lauffer said. The Town Center is more than 90 percent leased, the new Marketplace, 77 percent leased, company records show.

Also planned this year is a food court-style restaurant complex at the Plaza Del Rancho planned to serve the Valencia Industrial Center.
