EASTER CHRISTIANS' MAIN HOLY DAY.

Easter may be a holiday filled with chocolate bunnies and hard-boiled eggs, but for Christians, the holy day means much more.

Easter actually validates their faith, as the apostle Paul communicated in a letter to the congregation in Corinth, Greece, just a generation after they saw Jesus crucified and the tumult that ensued when his tomb was reported empty three days later.

``If Christ hadn't risen, our preaching is in vain, and your faith is also in vain,'' Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians, as he spoke for the other apostles APOSTLES. In the British courts of admiralty, when a party appeals from a decision made against him, he prays apostles from the judge, which are brief letters of dismission, stating the case, and declaring that the record will be transmitted. 2 Brown's Civ. and Adm.
