It is one of the largest air force bases in the United States and has the world's longest runway. - The 412th Test Wing took steps to bring the Air Force Flight Test Center in line with the Air Force's new Combat Wing Organization structure with the official ``stand up'' of the Test Wing's new maintenance group. Aircraft maintenance workers are now part of the new 412th Maintenance Group, formerly known as the 412th Logistics Group. The new maintenance group, led by Col.
