EADS Telecom enhances Pointspan Sync Manager to include Telident e911.

 TELECOM, a subsidiary of EADS North America North America, third largest continent (1990 est. pop. 365,000,000), c.9,400,000 sq mi (24,346,000 sq km), the northern of the two continents of the Western Hemisphere.  and provider of enterprise telephony solutions, has announced enhancements for Pointspan Sync Manager 2.0 that add Telident e911 software to the list of third-party applications integrated with EADS TELECOM's management tool. The Telident e911 database enables a PBX (Private Branch eXchange) An inhouse telephone switching system that interconnects telephone extensions to each other as well as to the outside telephone network (PSTN).  to accurately provide a 911 caller's building address, floor and office location to the 911 dispatcher Software that determines what pending tasks should be done next and assigns the available resources to accomplish it. It may execute other programs or generate a list for human operators to follow. See scheduler.  only when the Pointspan M6880 PBX, Telident e911 databases and the public 911 database match. The new Pointspan Sync Manager module automatically downloads PBX changes into the Telident e911 system and to the public 911 system, ensuring all systems are current. Pointspan Sync Manager centralizes management and administration of an enterprise's telephony solutions, providing a single environment to manage a customer's switch platform, voice mail platform and, now, the Telident e911 Module. A joint effort between Unimax, Teltronics and EADS TELECOM, Pointspan Sync Manager allows companies to synchronize all of their solutions for a centralized cen·tral·ize
