FRISCO, Texas Frisco is a city in Collin County and Denton County, Texas (USA).

It is a northern suburb of Dallas. As of the 2000 census, the city population was 33,714, while according to 2007 estimate, the city's population is approximately 95,000.
-- As the first in the industry to successfully demonstrate the P25 Inter-RF Subsystem Interface in August 2006, EADS Secure Networks North America North America, third largest continent (1990 est. pop. 365,000,000), c.9,400,000 sq mi (24,346,000 sq km), the northern of the two continents of the Western Hemisphere. , Inc., a subsidiary of EADS North America announced today that it has now successfully interoperated with a different manufacturer's P25 network in an independent lab led by General Dynamics C4 Systems.

EADS Secure Networks, which markets IP-based, mission critical radio systems based on the P25 Open Standard to Public Safety and First Responders in the North America, worked with General Dynamics and M/A-COM on December 1st at the General Dynamics Homeland Security Noun 1. Scottsdale has become internationally recognized as a premier and posh tourist destination, while maintaining its own identity and culture as "  to demonstrate the real-time, comprehensive radio communications interoperability that public safety officials and first responders are seeking.

Following EADS' successful launch of their P25 ISSI solution, General Dynamics requested that EADS collaborate with M/A-COM to create a live demonstration of the powerful abilities of open standards-based radio interoperability. Two key demonstrations took place: 1) network level interoperability between P25 system from different manufacturers and 2) units roaming from their "home" system and being able to talk on the system they are "visiting" with connectivity back to their home system.

Today's public safety and homeland security challenges demand that radio networks be united to enable law enforcement, fire, EMT See Efficient markets theory. , and other first responders to support each other regardless of geographic boundaries," said David Cerqua, General Manager of EADS Secure Networks. "This test validates the P25 ISSI Standard and proves absolutely that the technology is in place and ready to support these requirements without the need for expensive or proprietary gateways."

The demonstration used the recently passed Association of Public Safety Communications Project 25 (P25) Inter-RF- Subsystem Interface (ISSI ISSI International Space Science Institute

"For nationwide law enforcement and homeland security applications such as the U.S. Government's Integrated Wireless Network (IWN IWN Integrated Wireless Network

), meeting the standards for interoperability is a priority," said Lee Wright, director of National Communications and Homeland Security for General Dynamics C4 Systems. "Recognizing the growing importance and potential of enabling agency responders to communicate securely anywhere, General Dynamics made a significant investment in the laboratory in order to advance standards-compliant radio interoperability."

EADS and General Dynamics will continue collaboration on interoperability testing. In addition, EADS continues to validate other manufacturer's P25 radios, equipment and software applications on its P25 radio architecture as part of its commitment to delivering mission critical radio systems for public safety built for today and tomorrow.
