EA SIGNS CONTRACT WITH A VALUE OF $2.3 MILLION WITH METCALF & EDDY INTERNATIONAL.

: EACO EACO Emmanuel Alliance Church of Ottawa (Canada) ) today announced that it has received a $2.3 million contract from Metcalf & Eddy International (M&E) to participate in a major environmental project in Alexandria, Egypt.

Under the terms of the contract, EA will perform an environmental impact assessment/study of wastewater effluent and sludge disposal alternatives in support of Phase II of the Alexandria Wastewater Expansion Project (AWEP AWEP Afghan Women Empowerment Program ). The AWEP will expand Alexandria's existing sanitary wastewater treatment system to handle the central district of the city and will allow upgrade to the system treatment and disposal technology to protect human health and the natural environment.

This cost plus fixed fee contract will be managed by EA's recently opened Roushdy, Alexandria, Egypt, office, with significant participation from EA's offices in Newburgh, New York New York, state, United States
New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of
 and EA Laboratories in Sparks, Maryland. The work has begun and is expected to be completed by the end of 1996.
