Contact North is expanding its distance education and training network into over 20 new northern communities with a $1.5 million injection from the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities.

The investment will fund e-learning (Electronic-LEARNING) An umbrella term for providing computer instruction (courseware) online over the public Internet, private distance learning networks or inhouse via an intranet. See CBT.  centres in at least 20 communities with 16 confirmed thus far, and 12 plugged into Contact North's video conference network.
