E-SYSTEMS UNIT TEAMED WITH LOCKHEED WINS AWARD

 DALLAS, Aug. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- The U.S. Air Force has awarded Lockheed Aeromed Centers, Inc. (LACI) a competitive contract for Contractor Logistics Support of a fleet of KC-10 Aircraft. LACI teamed with Serv-Air, Inc., an E-Systems Company to win the five year program to provide worldwide maintenance, technical and logistics support for 59 KC-10 aircraft.
 LACI is prime contractor and will provide program management and all aircraft maintenance services at its Greenville, S.C. facility.
 Serv-Air will provide logistics support under a subcontract with a first year value of $47 million. The exercise of options for four additional years is expected to produce a total value of $220 million. Logistics support responsibilities include worldwide technical and parts support as well as operating supply depots at U.S. Air Force bases around the country.
 The U.S. Air Force KC-10 aircraft is a derivative of the commercial DC-10 especially designed and equipped to provide worldwide inflight refueling and cargo transportation support. The U.S. Air Force is the operator of the largest fleet of KC/DC-10 aircraft in the world.
 LACI is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Lockheed Corporation (NYSE: LK) engaged in providing aircraft maintenance, modification and technical support to both military and commercial customers at FAA certified repair stations in Greenville, S.C. and Tucson, Ariz.
