Maybe this town isn't big e-nough for the both of 'em. The Web site LAVoice.org launched recently, and instantly attacked LA.com.

Reed dismisses the site, which is still in its preview stage, as "heavy with celebrity froth, 'hipster' information on L.A. clubs and eateries and in general, candy-flavored noise." He then acknowledges that he had applied for the job of LA.com editor, which was assigned to Laurie Pike pike, in zoology
