E&B MARINE INC. PURCHASES CERTAIN ASSETS FROM WHARF CORPORATION

 EDISON, N.J., Nov. 19 ~PRNewswire~ -- E&B Marine Inc. announced today the purchase of certain assets from The Wharf Corporation. These assets include inventory and fixed assets located at two retail stores in Crystal River, Fla. and Holiday, Fla. E&B Marine assumed certain lease obligations at these locations. These retail stores have been operating under the name "The Complete Mariner". These additional two stores brings E&B's overall store count to 47, operating in 13 states. Exact terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
 E&B Marine Inc. has also signed a lease to replace the South Miami store which was lost in Hurricane Andrew. It is anticipated that this new South Miami location will be operational early in 1993.
 E&B Marine Inc. is one of the nation's largest direct-mail merchandiser and specialty retailer of marine supplies and accessories.
