Dyson drops in on West Coast delegates.

Labours health spokesperson Ruth Dyson dropped in on an NZNO delegate training day on bullying and harassment prevention in Greymouth last month. Labour MPs were meeting on the West Coast. The delegates talked with Dyson about safe staffing, valuing enrolled nurses, providing nursing training on the West Coast, financial support for study and bonding health workers to work in rural areas, and maintaining and improving health services on the West Coast. The delegates, standing, are: Ann Knipe, Grey Community Services; John Morel, Hannah Ward, Grey Base Hospital (GBH); Bernie Morgan, Morice Ward, GBH; Sue Griffin, Parfitt Ward, GBH; Helen Sawyers, Foote Ward, Buller Hospital; Ian Stevenson, Dunsford Ward, Buller Hospital; Brent McKenzie, operating theatre, GBH; and Diane Longstaff Foote Word, Buller. Sitting are Ruth Dyson, and Lynette Campbell and Annemarie Jackson, both from Duns ford Ward, Buller Hospital.
