Wireless Enterprise Symposium -- Brother International Corporation and DynoPlex, Inc. announce the development of a Universal Printer Interface -- Brother's latest addition to its BlackBerry(R) printing software for the MPrint(TM) MW-140BT mobile printer featuring Bluetooth(R) wireless technology. The Universal Printer Interface provides the ability for independent software vendors and corporate IT departments to enable printing to MPrint MW-140BT from BlackBerry applications with little or no development effort.

Employing the Universal Printer Interface with the MPrint MW-140BT mobile printer immediately extends the printing capabilities from BlackBerry Messages, Tasks, and Calendar to almost every enterprise application. The Universal Printer Interface and the MW-140BT provide BlackBerry application developers with an off-the-shelf wireless printing solution.

"Application developers need only install the Universal Printer Interface in order to be able to print from their application to the MW-140BT. Installation is quick, easy, and saves the time of having to write a custom printer driver application," said John Biancamano, Brother Product Manager.

"We are pleased that Brother International has chosen us to develop the Universal Printer Interface, and are looking forward to extending the advantages of Bluetooth printing to millions of BlackBerry users," said Sergey Fradkov, co-founder of DynoPlex.

BlackBerry devices are the wireless solution of choice for many mobile professionals, and the MW-140BT, along with the Universal Printer Interface, is a perfect complement to any BlackBerry mobile solution. Together they can increase field worker productivity, and save time and improve customer satisfaction by providing on-the-spot printing of data and transactions that are critical to your business.
