Dynasty Technologies Expands European Presence, Improving Local Sales and Technical Support; Dynasty Adds New Italian Subsidiary and German Distributor -- almaplan.

MONTEREY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 7, 1998--Dynasty Technologies, a leading developer of component building and assembly software for enterprise applications, today announced the opening of a new Italian subsidiary, Dynasty Technologies Italia, and appointment of a new German distributor, almaplan software gmbh.

Dynasty's presence now covers all key areas of Western Europe and provides the company's European customers with local access to Dynasty's sales and technical support resources.

Located in Milan, the new Italian subsidiary will be responsible for sales and technical support of the DYNASTY Development Environment(TM) (DDE), an open platform, component and assembly software and development tool. The four-person team will focus its efforts on developing and providing technical support for three vertical markets: finance, telecommunications and government. Current clients of the subsidiary are CAD, Selfin, Elsag Bailey, Ericsson Telecommunications and Ipacri.

The subsidiary's general manager is Siro Terni, an 18-year software veteran. Terni was previously general manager for the Italian offices of Software AG, a German software company, and Hyperion Software, a U.S. software company. Previous to that he was division manager for ADP's Italian outsourcing division.

Dynasty's newest European distributor, almaplan, specializes in designing and supporting high-volume transaction processing systems. almaplan will be responsible for sales, marketing, training, project management and application development of Dynasty's products throughout Germany and Austria. almaplan has already managed numerous Dynasty projects, including Premiere, Hamburg Police Dept. and AHB.
