Dynamic Announces Recent Pathology System Contracts.

Dynamic Healthcare Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: DHTI/DHTID) today announced the following recent contracts for its market leading CoPathPlus anatomic pathology system:

University of North Carolina Hospitals/Rex Healthcare

The University of North Carolina Hospitals is a 665-bed academic medical facility operating more than 160 clinics and other outpatient programs for the state of North Carolina and the surrounding region. Rex Healthcare, part of the UNC (Universal Naming Convention) A standard for identifying servers, printers and other resources in a network, which originated in the Unix community. A UNC path uses double slashes or backslashes to precede the name of the computer.  system, is a 394-bed hospital that serves the city of Raleigh and the areas surrounding Wake County, North Carolina Wake County is a county located in the U.S. state of North Carolina. As of 2007, the population was 817,429. Its county seat is Raleigh6, also the state capital.  and admits approximately 24,000 patients per year. UNC/Rex will implement CoPathPlus for 90 users across both facilities with several interfaces to two different hospital information systems, Siemens/SMS HIS and 3M HELP system, as well as an in-house developed clinical data repository A Clinical Data Repository (CDR) is a real-time database that consolidates data from a variety of clinical sources to present a unified view of a single patient. It is optimized to allow clinicians to retrieve data for a single patient rather than to identify a population of . The purchase of CoPathPlus marks the second "Plus" architecture system purchased by UNC. UNC also utilizes Dynamic's RadPlus radiology information system A Radiology Information System (RIS) is used by radiology departments to store, manipulate and distribute patient radiological data and imagery. The system generally consists of patient tracking and scheduling, result reporting and image tracking capabilities. .

Crozer-Keystone Health System

Located in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania Bryn Mawr is a census-designated place (CDP) in Lower Merion Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, just west of Philadelphia along Lancaster Avenue (US-30) and the border with Delaware County. , Crozer-Keystone has been the dominant provider of health care in Delaware County, Pennsylvania Delaware County (known colloquially as "Delco") is a county located in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. As of 2000, the population was 550,864.

Delaware County was created on September 26, 1789 from part of Chester County and named for the Delaware River.

Crozer's agreement includes a multi-site installation of CoPathPlus for 30 users on a Windows NT platform with multiple HL7 interfaces to their Siemens/SMS HIS. Grand River Hospital Grand River Hospital is a 495-bed hospital serving Waterloo Region, Ontario, Canada and surrounding communities, primarily through the K-W Health Centre and the Freeport Health Centre, both located in Kitchener.  

Grand River Hospital in Ontario, Canada formed in 1995 by merging Kitchener-Waterloo Hospital and Freeport Hospital. Grand River is the region's largest hospital with an annual budget of $140 million and staffed by over 2,300 professionals. The CoPathPlus agreement represents a conversion from a manual AP system for Grand River with 30 users and approximately 70,000 specimens per year. Grand River's implementation will include 4 interfaces and faxing.

Regional Pathology Services

Regional Pathology Services is a private pathology reference laboratory located in Kettering, Ohio, handling approximately 60,000 specimens annually. Regional Pathology Services has purchased CoPathPlus for 20 users on Windows NT with automated faxing. As part of its CoPathPlus implementation, the group will convert data from the currently installed Tamtron anatomic pathology system.

Main Line Clinical Laboratories

Main Line Clinical Laboratories is a multi-site integrated delivery network located in Wynnewood, Pennsylvania. A member of the Thomas Jefferson Health System serving Lankenau, Bryn Mawr, and Paoli Hospitals, Main Line handles approximately 60,000 specimens per year. As part of the agreement, Main Line will migrate from CoPath M to CoPathPlus on a Windows NT platform with 70 users, including Dynamic's new Synoptic Reporting module.

Norton Healthcare (Kosair Children's Hospital)

Kosair Children's Hospital, a 253-bed hospital located in the Louisville Medical Center in Louisville, Kentucky, is part of Norton Healthcare, a not-for-profit organization. Kosair will migrate to CoPathPlus on a Windows NT server, including conversion of all data from the CoPath M system and an ADT (Asynchronous Data Transfer) A transmission technique used in ISDN PBXs that dynamically allocates bandwidth. Grace Hospital is a community hospital located in Morganton, West Virginia. Grace Hospital will migrate from Dynamic's CoPath M system to a 10-user CoPathPlus NT system with three interfaces.

It was erected on November 19, 1981. . St. Peter's performs approximately 30,000 inpatient and over 100,000 outpatient services annually. St. Peter's CoPathPlus system will include a migration from CoPath M and an interface to McKesson HIS.

Kenneth Norris, Jr. Cancer Center

Kenneth Norris, Jr. Cancer Center, the cancer center affiliate of the University of Southern California The U.S. News & World Report ranked USC 27th among all universities in the United States in its 2008 ranking of "America's Best Colleges", also designating it as one of the "most selective universities" for admitting 8,634 of the almost 34,000 who applied for freshman admission  at Los Angeles, will migrate from CoPath M to CoPathPlus for 30 users; the implementation will include an HL7 Results interface to the McKesson HIS.

St. Mary's Hospital

Located in Decatur, IL, St. Mary's Hospital is a member of the Hospital Sisters Health System, one of the largest Catholic health care systems in the U.S. St. Mary's CoPathPlus installation will include HL7 ADT, Results, and Billing interfaces as well as conversion of all data from their CoPath M system. St. Mary's will have 10 CoPathPlus users on Windows NT.

Sumter Regional Hospital

Sumter Regional Hospital is a 143-bed acute care facility located in Americus, GA. Sumter's migration from Dynamic's CoPath M system to CoPathPlus will include ADT, Results, and Billing interfaces and automated faxing. There will be 20 users on Sumter's CoPathPlus NT system.
