Dynamex Announces Kansas City Acquisition.


DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 1, 1998--Dynamex Inc. (Nasdaq:DYMX) today announced that it has completed the acquisition of the assets of Rush Delivery in Kansas City Kansas City, two adjacent cities of the same name, one (1990 pop. 149,767), seat of Wyandotte co., NE Kansas (inc. 1859), the other (1990 pop. 435,146), Clay, Jackson, and Platte counties, NW Mo. (inc. 1850). , Mo.

Rush is engaged primarily in the on-demand transportation business in the Kansas City area and has annual revenues of approximately $3,000,000. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
