Dynacq International Inc. (Nasdaq:DYII) reported earnings per share (basic and diluted di·lute

) for the second fiscal quarter ending Feb. 28, 2002 were $0.24 as compared to $0.17 the prior year, a 41% increase. Net income increased 47%, from $2,416,219 to 3,542,027. Net revenue was up 54%.

For the six months, Dynacq reported earnings per share were up 38%, $0.47 versus $0.34 (basic and diluted). Net income increased 45% while net revenue was up 55%.
