Dynacor Mines Inc. - Siscoe: Initial Drilling Results.MONTREAL--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 1, 1997--DYNACOR(ME:DYN dyn abbr. dyne .) Dynacor Mines Inc. has just completed the first part of its 97-98 drilling campaign. Nine drillholes were made over a total of 4,067 metres. Assays on drillholes 97-02, 97-07 and 97-08 have been completed, while results for the other six drillholes will be available soon and will be announced in a later press release. Drillhole 97-02 Drillhole 97-02 is located about 150 metres from the north boundary of the property. It cuts through a thick sequence of volcanic rock containing many diorite diorite Medium- to coarse-grained igneous rock that commonly is composed of about two-thirds plagioclase feldspar and one-third dark-coloured minerals, such as hornblende or biotite. intrusions. Inside one of these intrusions, a moderately mineralized min·er·al·ize v. min·er·al·ized, min·er·al·iz·ing, min·er·al·iz·es v.tr. 1. To convert to a mineral substance; petrify. 2. To transform a metal into a mineral by oxidation. 3. vein of chloritized quartz was encountered. It contains gold grades of 6.5 g/t over a width of 1.2 metres, including 15.9 g/t over a width of 0.3 metres. This part of the Siscoe property is adjacent to the Abitibi property, where Noveder Inc. recently reported the presence of two gold-bearing zones : one returning an average gold grade of 11.29 g/t over a thickness of 1.2 metres and a length of 175 metres, the other returning an average of 3.78 g/t over a thickness of 1.39 metres and a length of 60 metres. Dynacor first plans to make another drillhole to intersect In a relational database, to match two files and produce a third file with records that are common in both. For example, intersecting an American file and a programmer file would yield American programmers. this geological formation some 50 metres lower. Drillholes 97-07 and 97-08 Two drillholes were made in the east sector of the old Siscoe mine to determine the potential of the Siscoe intrusion. This sector is located to the east, near the surface and north of the already mined sites. The area has a high gold-bearing potential due to its location : the heart of the Siscoe mine, the "Main zone", lies only a few hundred metres to the west. To test the sector, drillholes 97-07 and 97-08 were drilled over a total of 590 metres and less than 300 metres from the old Siscoe mine shaft, in an area that has never been mined or even explored. Drillhole 97-07, 200 metres from the main shaft, encountered mineralized formations. From 212.5 to 213.4 of depth, two tension veins returned gold grades of 5.78 g/t over 0.9 metres. Drillhole 97-08, 300 metres from the main shaft, intersected a zone containing many quartz and calcite calcite (kăl`sīt), very widely distributed mineral, commonly white or colorless, but appearing in a great variety of colors owing to impurities. veinlets from 281.3 to 282. 7 metres of depth. These veinlets graded 6.05 g/t of gold over 1.4 metres, including 11.9 g/t over 1 metre metre In poetry, the rhythmic pattern of a poetic line. Various principles have been devised to organize poetic lines into rhythmic units. Quantitative verse, the metre of Classical Greek and Latin poetry, measures the length of time required to pronounce syllables, . All tests were performed in the Abilab laboratory, in Val d'Or Val d'Or (väl dôr), town (1991 pop. 23,842), SW Que., Canada, SE of Rouyn-Noranda. It is a mining center. Gold was discovered in the region in 1909; copper, zinc, lead, and molybdenum are also mined. (Quebec), by the fire assays method. Drilling will resume in early January 1998.
