Dynacor Mines - Acari: More Than 10 Veins Identified.MONTREAL--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 16, 1997--DYNACOR (ME DYN dyn abbr. dyne .) Dynacor Mines is completing a substantial cartography cartography: see map. cartography or mapmaking Art and science of representing a geographic area graphically, usually by means of a map or chart. Four important new gold-bearing veins have been recently identified, bringing their total number to ten. The geological ge·ol·o·gy n. pl. ge·ol·o·gies 1. Assay results will be published as they become available. Smaller, but much higher grade structures have also been identified, from previous work by artisan miners. These structures generally assay more than 1 oz/st of gold, which was the cut-off cut-off Anesthesiology The point at which elongation of the carbon chain of the 1-alkanol family of anesthetics results in a precipitous drop in the anesthetic potential of these agents–eg, at > 12 carbons in length, there is little anesthetic activity, grade the small-scale miners, or "informales", were compelled to use, on account of the low gold recovery they could achieve, typically 50 percent. As a result, material below 1 oz/st was considered barren bar·ren adj. 1. Not producing offspring. 2. The exploration program is progressing as scheduled, and results thus far obtained confirm the promising potential of the property. Dynacor Mines commissioned at the beginning of the year a 60 t/d mill which will be used to process small bulk samples from the ten veins, starting with the Principal, which is already accessible. Milling results will then be used to estimate the potential of each vein and refine mining methods. On the two most important veins of the property, Principal and Carnero, assays had been from 4 g/t (0.14 oz/st) to 209 g/t (6.07 oz/st) and from 26,96 g/t (0.78 oz/st) to 143.5 g/t (4.16 oz/st) of gold, respectively. More significant was the milling of 1200 tonnes from the Principal in 1995, which yielded an average grade of 32 g/t (0.93 oz/st). CONTACT: Dynacor Mines Inc.
