DynaGen appoints general manager for Able Laboratories.

: DYG) today announced that Susan M. Barrett has joined its wholly-owned subsidiary, Able Laboratories Inc. as general manager.

Barrett brings to Able over 15 years of operations and sales and marketing experience in the multisource pharmaceutical industry. She has assumed direct responsibility for the daily operations of the Able Laboratories business.

Since entering this industry as a customer service representative in 1981, Barrett has held increasingly senior positions in sales and marketing within the U.S. multisource pharmaceutical industry. She had also been director of sales for ALPHARMA from January 1993 to April 1995, the company from which DynaGen acquired Able Laboratories in August 1996. Most recently, Barrett has been a consultant to pharmaceutical wholesalers manufacturers in the areas of strategic planning Strategic planning is an organization's process of defining its strategy, or direction, and making decisions on allocating its resources to pursue this strategy, including its capital and people.  and sales and marketing.
