Dutch Cable ISP Deploys C-COR's OSS Solution for Provisioning of High-Speed Data Subscribers.

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. -- Scalability of C-COR's Platform Provides Small-to-Medium Sized Cable Operators and Cable ISPs with Benefits of OSS Automation

C-COR Incorporated (Nasdaq:CCBL CCBL - Cambodia Campaign to Ban Landmines
CCBL - Configuration Control Baseline
CCBL - CPEDB Configuration Baseline Listing
), a global provider of broadband communications products, software systems, and services, today announced that Netvisit, a regional cable ISP (Internet Service Provider) in the Netherlands, has deployed C-COR's Service Activation Manager or SAM (formerly, Alopa Network's MetaServ(TM)) for end-to-end provisioning of high-speed data customers. Netvisit is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Vertis Holding, a provider of integrated process and IT solutions. The deployment of C-COR's SAM is timed with the migration by Netvisit of service subscribers from older proprietary modem technology to DOCSIS standards. The SAM is fully compliant with DOCSIS specifications.

C-COR's SAM is the cable industry's only OSS product to automate the entire subscriber life cycle--from equipment qualification through customer support--and integrates all layers of the IT infrastructure, including billing, order entry, customer care, and network management. The platform's scalability means that medium-to-small sized cable operators and cable ISPs can tap into the same advantages as larger MSOs for revenue generation and cost containment that are derived from automating the subscriber interface. The SAM is a component of C-COR's flagship Integrated Services Management (ISM(TM)) System, cable's most comprehensive suite of OSS solutions. In addition to subscriber management capabilities, C-COR's ISM also offers network service, mobile workforce, bandwidth capacity, and network security management modules, with about 100 ISM applications currently deployed worldwide.
