Dustin Hoffman has toilet named after him in college he was expelled from!

Washington, Jan 15 (ANI): Veteran actor Dustin Hoffman has a bathroom in his name at the college from where he was expelled.

The 71-year-old actor completed his first year of Santa Monica Junior College in California, but was thrown out because he did not get good grades.

In 2000, the college bosses asked whether they could honour him by naming their new theatre after him, but the Oscar winner rather opted for a toilet tribute.

"I was the one celebrity from Santa Monica College, except for James Dean - and he wasn't available," Contactmusic quoted him as saying.

"They asked me and I said, 'But I got kicked out...' and they said, 'You're an alumni.'"

"I said, 'Give me a toilet...' because on the stage they rarely have a bathroom in the wings and you get nervous and you can't go to the bathroom, and you have to go underneath and go around.

"I said, 'Give the whole cast a toilet just in the wings before you come on; it's a great thing to do,'" he added. (ANI)
