Dust Control Technology.

Chemco Manufacturing has introduced Pulsator pulsator

, a filter cartridge for the collection of dusts and powders as small as 0.3 microns. It is manufactured using advanced dual dimple technology, a technique that imparts an imposed dimpling dim·pling

on individual filter pleats using spun-bonded polyester media. The technique maximizes performance when the filter has high dust loading, optimizes the efficiency of pulse cleaning and improves filter capacity after pulsing. The dimpled media provides consistent pleat separation, which results in more uniform cleaning and longer filter life, It also makes the cartridge highly resistant to tearing and collapsing. The cartridge's design permits extra-wide pleat spacing and maximum use of the filter media, allowing for a lower-pressure differential and longer cartridge life, excellent dust release properties, and less dust retained within the cartridge (5-7 lb vs. 20-40 lb on average for traditional cellulose cartridges). The cartridges allow back-pulsing as low as 40 psi, which can save up to 50% of the energy costs involved with generating compressed air compressed air, air whose volume has been decreased by the application of pressure. Air is compressed by various devices, including the simple hand pump and the reciprocating, rotary, centrifugal, and axial-flow compressors. , while also reducing noise. They also are environmentally beneficial as they can be washed repeatedly and reused while maintaining their performance and structural integrity. Other design features include endcaps and inner cores that are galvanized gal·va·nize
