Dunn/IDP Computer Awarded $1 Million Software Contract.

DULLES, Va., Sept. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Dunn/IDP Computer Corporation announced it has been awarded a $1 million order for software packages from the U.S. Air Force (USAF) Air Combat Command (ACC See adaptive cruise control. ). The ACC chose Dunn/IDP as a partner on its Command Software Infrastructure Upgrade Program because of its experience in providing a full-range of hardware, software and services. The software is destined for over 14 Air Force bases within the United States United States, officially United States of America, republic (2005 est. pop. 295,734,000), 3,539,227 sq mi (9,166,598 sq km), North America. The United States is the world's third largest country in population and the fourth largest country in area.  -- affecting over 40,000 users.

The project is part of the Air Forces' ongoing initiative to keep its personnel effective and efficient by supplying them with the latest IT capabilities.
