Dunlop in an appeal for history.ONE of Birmingham's most famous aviation firms is appealing to past employees to help mark its centenary year. Dunlop Aircraft Tyres is looking for people to get in touch with their photographs, memorabilia and memories of working at the plant for a book to mark its 100 years in business in 2010. The Erdington-based company manufactures and retreads aircraft tyres for airlines including British Airways British Airways in full British Airways PLC International passenger airline based in London. In 1936 British Airways Ltd. was founded through the merger of three smaller airlines. , Flybe and Lufthansa Cityline Lufthansa CityLine GmbH is an airline based in Cologne, Germany. It is a wholly owned subsidiary regional airline of Lufthansa and member of the Lufthansa Regional network. It is the largest regional airline in Europe. , and employs more than 300 people. Marketing and business analyst Stuart Hawker said: "We have been there right from the early days of aviation and the book will be a pefect way to mark that achievement."
