 USA of Randolph and Stop & Shop Supermarket Co. of Quincy today announced a landmark partnership in which Dunkin' Donuts franchises will be located in select Stop & Shop locations.

In this historic pairing of two of New England's most recognizable brands, Dunkin' Donuts and Stop & Shop Supermarkets have teamed up for a pilot program in which Dunkin' franchises will be located in three Eastern Massachusetts Stop & Shop locations. The Mansfield Stop & Shop, located on 377 Chauncy Street, will be the first location to officially open on Saturday, March 17.

Under the pilot program, two additional Dunkin' Donuts franchises will be located be located in the North Quincy North Quincy is the northernmost neighborhood of Quincy, Massachusetts, and is separated from the City of Boston by the Neponset River. North Quincy has a significant Chinese American and Eastern Asian population; at the corner of Hancock Street and Billings Road, there are four  and Dedham Stop & Shop locations. North Quincy will open by the end of the month and Dedham will open on or near April 4th. If this test proves to be mutually successful, future plans call for the program to be expanded significantly throughout New England New England, name applied to the region comprising six states of the NE United States—Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut. The region is thought to have been so named by Capt. .

"Dunkin' Donuts is extremely excited about this partnership with Stop & Shop," said Dave Gleason, Dunkin' Donuts Manager of non-traditional development. "We're looking at alternative points of distribution as a growth vehicle and feel that Stop & Shop is a perfect fit for us from both a branding and geographic standpoint."

On Saturday, March 17 Dunkin' Donuts representatives will join Stop and Shop representatives for the official ribbon cutting ceremony A ribbon cutting ceremony is a public ceremony conducted to inaugurate the opening to the general public of a new building or business.
